1. Acceptance of Terms These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and globalbooks.online governing your access to and use of the globalbooks autonomous financial infrastructure. By accessing the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. globalbooks.online is a trading name of Mershen Pillay.

2. Description of Service globalbooks.online provides an AI-powered autonomous financial infrastructure designed to automate bookkeeping, transaction categorization, and fiscal reconciliation. The Service is provided as a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service. We reserve the right to modify or enhance the Service at any time.

3. Subscription Pricing and Billing 3.1 Fees: The Service is provided at a flat-rate subscription of 500.00 USD per month or the prevailing ZAR equivalent. 3.2 Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring 30-day cycle via our secure payment partners. 3.3 Price Adjustments: globalbooks.online reserves the right to modify pricing. Existing users will receive at least 30 days notice via email before any price changes take effect. 3.4 Non-Payment: If payment is not received within 7 days of the due date, access to the infrastructure will be suspended.

4. AI-Powered Features and Limitations 4.1 Nature of AI Outputs: You acknowledge that the Service uses artificial intelligence to generate financial insights and categorizations. These are automated recommendations and may contain inaccuracies. 4.2 No Professional Advice: The Service is a bookkeeping automation tool and does not constitute financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. While the owner is a professional accountant, the outputs of the autonomous engine must be reviewed by the Customer or a qualified professional before being relied upon for tax filings or regulatory compliance. 4.3 Review Obligation: The Customer is ultimately responsible for the accuracy of their financial records. You agree to review all AI-generated work product regularly.

5. Refund and Cancellation Policy 5.1 Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time via the secure channel or by emailing globalbooks.online. Access continues until the end of the current paid period. 5.2 Refunds: Due to the immediate allocation of digital resources and AI processing power, all fees are non-refundable. 5.3 Satisfaction Guarantee: A full refund of the initial month may be requested within the first 7 days of service if the infrastructure fails to meet technical specifications, subject to management discretion.

6. Third-Party Integrations By connecting financial accounts to the Service, you authorize globalbooks.online to access, read, and write data to those accounts as necessary to provide the Service. We are not responsible for the functionality or availability of third-party platforms.

7. Limitation of Liability 7.1 Excluded Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, globalbooks.online and Mershen Pillay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, tax penalties, or regulatory fines arising from AI inaccuracies. 7.2 Damages Cap: Our total cumulative liability arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amounts paid by you to globalbooks.online during the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability.

8. Data Ownership and Privacy You retain all rights to your financial data. You grant globalbooks.online a limited license to process this data solely to provide and improve the Service. We process all data in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act and GDPR.

9. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless globalbooks.online and Mershen Pillay from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gauteng.
